Impact100 Essex is a giving circle founded and funded by women in Essex County, New Jersey.

We bring women together to amplify the impact of their giving and support non-profit organizations serving communities in Essex County.

We currently offer two types of Grants:

Impact Grant

An initiative-based grant of $100,000 awarded to an organization addressing the needs of underserved communities in Essex County. Initiatives are defined as projects that innovate, deepen or expand your current work or ongoing program needs aligned to your mission.

One grant awarded each April.

Equity Grant

Mission-based, unrestricted grants ranging from $10,000 - $20,000 awarded to Essex County nonprofits led by Black, Indigenous and other People of Color (BIPOC). 

Up to three grants awarded each November.

Note: Organizations may apply for both the Equity Grant and the Impact Grant. However, if your organization is awarded an Equity Grant, your organization is no longer eligible for an Impact Grant during the same grant cycle. Grant cycles run August through April.
